Uniform
Order Uniform
Uniform is available to order online from the link below;
The school colours are green and yellow. Pupils should wear clothes in these colours. We hope this will foster a sense of community and pride in the school and in their own appearance.
- grey trousers / skirt
- white or grey shirt/blouse
- white or yellow polo shirt
- green sweatshirt / cardigan
- green and white or yellow and white dress
School sweatshirts and cardigans are available and can be ordered through MAPAC Group Ltd (details can be found at the bottom of this page), but this is not obligatory. We also have a full range of preloved uniform located in the preschool entrance.
Swimming hats are still available to purchase from the school office.
Pupils should wear sensible shoes (not trainers) that are low heeled/flat. It would be helpful if Reception children wear shoes that they can fasten for themselves.
P.E. - black or white shorts / plain white t-shirt / plain trainers (INDOOR)
- black joggers / plain white t-shirt, black sweatshirt / plain trainers (OUTDOOR)
Pupils are required to wear suitable clothing for Forest school, including long trousers, long-armed tops, waterproofs, warm clothing and wellies or old trainers. Please note that children attend throughout the year, whatever the weather.
Young children find it quite difficult to cope with small buttons, so we do advise t-shirts and elasticated waists. Plimsolls/ trainers would ideally be slip-on.
All pupils will take part in swimming lessons and will need a swimming costume/ shorts and hat and a towel. Neither goggles nor jewellery, including earrings, are permitted.
Please make sure that all school clothing worn in school is clearly labelled. This is really important as lost items cannot be returned unless there is identification.
Pupils are expected to wear the correct uniform on the school premises and at out of school events or on trips organised by the school, or where they are representing the school (if required).
Jewellery
Please do not send children to school wearing jewellery such as necklaces or bracelets. Looped earrings are a safety hazard, especially in P.E. Only small studs are acceptable, and they must be removed before P.E. and swimming.
Make-Up
Pupils should not wear make-up or nail varnish.
Hair
In the interests of safety, hair longer than shoulder-length will need tying back for P.E. It is recommended that long hair is tied back for all lessons as pupils often perform practical tasks during lessons. Hair braids should be tied back and tucked in to the rest of the hair to avoid being pulled or caught on other things. Oversized hair accessories should not be used.
